About Me:
I’m Scott and I’ve always chased an ocean centric life. I took up sea kayaking while living in San Diego as a way to have more ocean time when the surf breaks weren’t firing. I’m currently in the Seattle area and discovering the amazing world of white water kayaking. I work as an instructor for various outfitters including REI and Salmon Bay Paddle.

Why I Love Kayaking:
I can paddle dynamic water all day without seeing another human, and see coastline only accessible only by small boat. I love rock gardening and longboat surfing.
Kayaking Accomplishments:
I am an ACA L5 coastal kayak coach and an ACA L2 SUP coach.
Most Memorable Moment in Your Kayak:
I’m still holding onto the memory of that one monster wave I surfed last summer with a crowd cheering on the beach.
