About Me:
My name is Sage Donnelly I have been paddling for 16 years. I have been a kayaker since I was little. When my parents put me in the front of a two person Topo Duo when I was two and we would paddle class two and three rivers. Then when I was five I started to run rivers in my own boat. I started competing in freestyle when I was seven and creek racing when I was nine. After that, I decided to set my sites on making team USA in slalom and freestyle. I’ve spent the last six years racing slalom full time and last year when covid hit I decided to come back to my roots to creek full time.

Why I Love Kayaking:
I love kayaking because of how freeing it is. There is nothing more magical than being in a deep canyon away from society pushing your limits on amazing whitewater.
Kayaking Accomplishments:
Previous Freestyle World Champion, Team USA K1 and C1 Slalom Team member, first female kayaker to run high water Selway Falls and Big Falls.
Most Memorable Moment in Your Kayak:
Last year I decided to run Big Falls at high water which is considered a class 6 rapid. The feeling when I got to the bottom after nailing my line was incredible.
