About Me:
My name is Toad and I grew up on the shuttle of the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River in Long Creek South Carolina, across the street from fellow team paddler Hunter Cooper, but have been living in Asheville, North Carolina pursuing the rainfall that lands in the ancient Blue Ridge Mountains. The first kayak I ever learned to roll in was the old school Dagger Dynamo, the next was one of my personal favorites, the RPM!

Some of my all time favorite rivers are the Linville, Fantasy Falls, and Highwater Chattooga!
Why I Love Kayaking:
I love kayaking because of the people/places I get to experience throughout my travels and daily paddle strokes. The long lasting friendships that arise from the good and the bad times on the river are ones that I wouldn't trade for anything.

Most Memorable Moment in Your Kayak:
One of my most memorable kayaking experiences is getting ejected out of my kayak on highwater Cumberland Falls in Kentucky!
